Perth and District Badminton Association was formed in 1949. At one time, there were 38 teams playing in 6 Divisions. Currently we now have 12 teams playing in 2 Divisions.

League matches are played at Bell’s Sports Centre, on Wednesday nights, from October to March each year.

At the height of play, we had an excellent coaching set-up producing many players who became full or junior internationalists.

The Association has ran junior, senior and Open Championships for many years including the Bell’s Whisky Championships from 1975 – 1989 which attracted some of the best players in the World.
